Mobile Electronics Australia ACT Round 4 - 2009 Listen n Loud Series Author: Matthew Windsor/Matt VIP. Photos: Rick Formosa/mad89. First up a heartfelt thanks to all who attended the fourth round of the MEA ACT "Listen and Loud" series, held at the newly located Super Audio Installations in Phillip. Owners Pat and Pedro had been working frantically to get their customers' cars ready for the comp, and all performed exceptionally well on the day, taking out a number of places and awards. The weather was somewhat unkind to us, again, despite a beautiful day on the Saturday and the Monday. Despite the setbacks, a small crowd formed under the gathering clouds, and the competition got underway.
Highlights from the day included: • Billy Arnold's 160.4dB burp, a clear 20 decibels ahead of the nearest competition for the day. If doubling the number of subs, or doubling the amount of amplifier power will get you a maximum of +3dB, well, you do the maths! • First time entrant Peter McDermott took out the encouragement award - which was the latest subwoofer from sponsors Schneider. • One of the MEA ACT organising crew coming up and asking, "Why isn't anyone cooking the BBQ mate?". Honestly, if you have to ask! • A number of the NSW competitors making the big trip down to our little town for the day - we are very much appreciative of the effort boys. • Michael Foley's Mini debuting its sound system, and coming second in Novice! Well done! Now for the results:

Once again a massive thanks to our sponsors, Kenwood, DNA, Schneider, Aerpro and Stinger. Without these guys helping us out, there wouldn't be much of a show, and also to Super Audio Installations for teaming up with us to put on the event as well as provide prizes - thanks guys!
