BUILT NISSAN TOUGH

The owner of this car says that the ultimate purpose for his car is to be able to hold his own wherever he goes. If wants to show the car, then the immaculate bodywork would be a bonus, if he was on the streets, then certainly the insane motor would leave any doubters behind. As seen in the Shop Review section of this issue, this car had its engine built by Chris from Incar racing. Like most cars worth mentioning in terms of performance, the list for this engine is almost endless.

The engine has been equipped with top-shelf gear to be able to maintain reliability at the same time as unrestricted control and power. The engine has been rebuilt from top to bottom and side to side and made 374kw at the rear wheels when last tuned. The following is a tiny list of what you may be able to notice if you were ever to see this car in the flesh:
Eagle conrods,
Arias pistons – 20thou oversized,
298 HKS camshafts with solid lifters,
Cometic head gasket,
Port and polished head,
Garret GT 35/40,
800cc injectors,
twin plate clutch,
RB25DET gearbox internals within standard gearbox,
A’PEXi Power FC,
Walbro fuel pump, and
3inch exhaust.

With the additional accessory list including a GReddy blow off valve, GReddy strut brace and oil catch can, the engine bay also looks the goods.

Handling has been taken into account in case high speed driving is ever needed on a track. The car will stop thanks to Endless 4 piston callipers at the front end with slotted discs. HKS coilovers with adjustable top plates were fitted to allow not only ride height adjustment, but also suspension stiffness.

The interior features enough gauges to be able to remove all factory warning lights. But this all comes at a loss of the air conditioning as all of the standard air vents have been taken up by the gauges. Exhaust temperature, water temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, turbo boost, and a fuel pressure gauge all take place in direct eye sight. Perhaps the most notable additions to the interior, in contrast to the all black interior, are the genuine Bride racing seats. The drift look is definitely the taste of the time, as this car also features a trust gear knob, Nardi steering wheel with D1 Spec quick release hub, drift handbrake and URAS gauges with a 260km limit.

The body is well equipped with a Vertex wide bodykit, Carbon Fibre hood, Aero side mirrors and tinted tail lights. 19inch Volk Racing wheels fill the guards and keep the racer look theme to a tee.
